23 years ago I started making CD compilations with my current playlists that I was sending to my friends instead of letters. It was when I had already moved to London and all of my friends were scattered throughout Europe and other corners of the world. We had emails and SMS (whatsapp wasn’t quite there yet), so letters weren’t as up to date anymore, so not having much to share in a letter, I kept the old tradition of sending postal mail with this quirky new invention of mine. A CD with the songs I was currently moved by, painting a picture of my state of mind. This carries on to this day, now in the form of streaming, of course. Each season I create a playlist that fits my mood and I share it here with you today. As Spring is advancing, it’s only fitting that I share my new Spring playlist with you too. Enjoy!
