It’s a hard question as it depends where I am.
In London, I was crazy for Crazy Bear (forgive the pun), but since that closed, I guess it’s now Sketch, or for a casual, inexpensive bite, I’d go to Wahaca.
In Rome I liked a vegan place called Ginger. Not the best pasta, but their quinoa salad is a must.
In Istanbul I love Thai Nepal Kitchen for their Asian fusion variety.
In Bali I love JUST KITCHEN – a Georgian restaurant in Seminyak.
In Buenos Aires I go to Negresco Bistró – classy, chic and expensive, but totally worth it.
In Paris I was amazed by Frenchie Bar à Vins for their gourmet style quirky creations (and it’s not Michelin-priced, which is the best part).
In Cambodia, I have a favourite “Beef with toasted red ants” dish at the Changkran Khmer Restaurant in Siem Reap.
Many more places I can list, but that will be a topic for a longer post on my blog. Are you following? Go ahead, do it ;)
